Discount calculator
Work out the final price after a discount and how much you save, even with a second stacked discount. You can also do the reverse: find the original price from the discounted one.

Stacked discounts: the common trap
A 25% discount plus an extra 10% is not 35%. The second discount applies to the already-reduced price: €100 with −25% becomes €75, and the extra −10% leaves it at €67.50. The effective total discount is 32.5%, not 35%. This calculator does that chaining correctly.
The reverse mode answers the opposite, sale-time question: "if I paid €60 with a 25% discount, how much did it cost before?". The answer is found by dividing the price paid by (1 − discount): 60 ÷ 0.75 = €80.
